Today we’re going to talk a little bit about Conan the Barbarian, in Conan: Savage Legends. Each Legend has an affinity associated with them that influences a number of different elements. Things like building their warband, what tactics they can add to their deck, and just overall general play style.
Through the many Conan adventures Robert E. Howard crafted, Conan has been many things: a thief, an outlaw, a mercenary, and even a pirate, but above all else he is a barbarian. Born the son of a Cimmerian blacksmith, Conan quickly proved his prowess as a respected warrior at a young age by taking part in the destruction of the Aquilonian fortress of Venarium. His heroic feats and countless battles proved to only strengthen his status as a
Conan the Barbarian is a Might based Legend, as you can probably imagine. This means he excels at and has an enhanced focus on aggressive, close up, face to face combat. You shouldn’t find him sitting back trying to take out his enemies with arcane spells. If that is your preferred play style, there are far better Legends to chose from.
Pair Conan with Companions and Minions that can support his in your face style and you will be hard pressed to find a better Legend option then Conan. For those of you who love to stare into your enemy’s souls as you plunge your sword into their flesh, he is the Legend for you!
