Today we’re taking this opportunity to give you a little insight to yet another Legend for Conan: Savage Legends — Thoth-Amon, Sorcerer of Set.
Appearing in the very first Conan story, “The Phoenix on the Sword”, Thoth-Amon, temporarily powerless and a slave at the time, used to be the greatest wizard of Stygia. Howard described him as “a somber giant, whose dusky skin revealed his Stygian blood.” With his powers restored, Thoth-Amon’s drive for revenge against his captors threatens the life of Conan as well and places the two at odds.
Thoth-Amon is a Legend who utilizes the Eldritch affinity and has the Stygia, Sorcerer, and Priest traits.
With abilities and tactics allowing Thoth-Amon to manipulate dice and transform results, he wields unexpected power that can catch even the greatest of tacticians off guard. The best way to capitalize on these effects is by building a Warband specifically around his arcane abilities. With Eldritch, Cunning, and a little bit of Monster items available for use, Thoth-Amon excels at keeping his opponents constantly guessing what his next move will be. If you like a bit of magical manipulation in your Legends, Thoth-Amon might just be the perfect choice for you.
